Finally--formally introducing the Tactical Recovery Equipment Soft-Shackles..... These have been wildly popular and rightfully so when you realize the versatility of these!! We use these on Jeeps, Trucks, ATV's, UTV's, desert race vehicles, sand rails...pretty much anything that you can get stuck during your weekend outings!

The soft shackle is not a new design and has been used for many years in the marine industry. We realized the advantage of using this tool in off-road vehicle recovery as a safe alternative method to heavier metal shackles. We are firm believers in the least amount of attachment points possible during any vehicle recovery!!

We offer them in 2 sizes, small and large.

The small are available at www.4lowparts.com
TRE Small Soft-Shackle
The large are available at www.4lowparts.com TRE Large Soft-Shackle

Our Soft Shackles are made from 3/8" synthetic winch rope and are available in most popular colors. Soft Shackles are used in many situations instead of a steel shackle and are considered a high strength replacement for most situations requiring the use of a steel shackle. Soft Shackles are made from the same high strength synthetic rope in use on a lot of winches to give you the same advantages of high strength, light weight, and ease in handling.

TRE Soft Shackles have a pull string to release the choker loop making them even easier to use in the field.

Some of the Advantages of using the TRE Soft Shackle are:
Light enough to float
Stronger than steel cable in equivalent sizes
Can be wrapped around objects that steel cable and shackles cannot without damage to your vehicle

Uses for Soft Shackles:
Can be wrapped around a roll cage to upright a vehicle
Can be attached to an anchor point the same way a steel shackle is used
Can quickly be wrapped around a bumper, axle or anything else for a quick pull
Can be used in place of Anchor Shackles and D-ring shackles in just about any application

Note: Soft Shackles are made of the same synthetic rope as winch rope and are susceptible to cutting and fraying. Please replace rope if you notice any of these.

You can even use them to pull your Trophy Truck onto the trailer
