The Yukon worry free Spin Free Kit replaces the vulnerable and expensive factory unit bearings with tapered bearings and races. The result is not only a design which is easier and more economical to service, but one that offers significant increases in mileage per gallon. This hub kit also includes WARN premium locking hubs, giving you more driving selectability. This kit includes new rotors, spindles, high strength Yukon 4340 Chrome-Moly outer axles, WARN premium locking hubs, Timken bearings, high quality seals and all hardware for installation.

Can you explain why it makes sense to spend 1700 bucks on a D30/D44? almost 2 grand is a long way towards a much stronger axle that already HAS selectable hubs....

97 TJ Sport - 4.0/HP D30 w ARB/8.8 w LS/4.88s; 35s and flat fenders on 2.5 lift

84 CJ7; frame off restoration in progress.

The technical advice you get from me here is worth exactly what you paid me for it. Warranty issues will be reimbursed at double what you paid me for the advice.

Depending how you use your vehicle this may or may not be a viable alternative. For the person that feels the D30 Axle is sufficient and uses the vehicle as a daily driver most of the time, this is a great way to save a couple bucks on fuel and save wear and tear on the front drive train components. If you are a hardcore off roader, then an axle swap may be the best way to go. It is all a matter of personnel preference.

We have sold quite a few of these kits and have not had any problems. All of the coments have been very positive.
