Finally there is an affordable solution to bending tube without mounting the bender the ground, buying adapter kits for hydraulic cylinders, or requiring you to rip on a 4 foot bar while you try to read a degree wheel you can’t even reach. Our kit comes with EVERYTHING you need except the air/hydraulic cylinder, which is available nearly everywhere at Harbor Freight for about $80 (without paying shipping). Our Rogue Fab Bender bends vertically to save space in your shop. It can bend the first 90 degrees without pulling any pins or using any ratchet mechanism (then you re-pin to bend more). It is portable! This tool is Made in the U.S.A. out of US made metal/materials and packaged in US made boxes. We back our rock-solid engineering with the fastest shipping and best customer service and tech support in the industry. We will ship your order in 1 business day 99% of the time. Don't take our word on the customer service, call us and see for yourself: 503-389-5413.

Our benders can keep up with your business. We offer our tube benders fully assembled and powder coated (additional cost), and with complete tooling packages and professional 1200+ lb capacity bender carts for large fabrication shops. We also have a 2HP double acting fully engineering electric/hydraulic power system that has 2 adjustable auto stops for precision manufacturing of repeat parts. We get absolutely amazing rates on LTL freight. We would be happy to get your tools palletized and delivered to your loading dock.

how is this design better then a protools horizontal unit?

Sorry for the delayed response, we need to change something in our subscription settings.

If you are asking, I am guessing you have already compared the prices for a bender, a couple of die sets, a degree wheel, and a base, and a handle or hydraulic conversion kit all shipped to your zip code (compared to our bender, which comes with everything you need except the ram). This is where you will see the biggest difference; our design can be made for much less without giving up features or functions.

The common Hossfeld style horizontal bender design that nearly every manual bender uses (JD, Pro Tools, etc) is a good proven design. It is an old design, and it was intended for manual operation. Here is a quick comparison.

Hossfeld Style
Drawbacks:
  • They have to be bolted to the ground
  • They are manual (and conversions don’t typically put the ram in line with the pivots)
  • When converted to hydraulic they still need to have a custom base made or be floor mounted
  • They use dies that have a weldment at the highest stress area
  • Horizontal bending long material without a way to rotate the bender requires a MASSIVE amount of open space
  • Dies cost much more

Advantages:
  • Flexibility of die options (CLR, spacing, etc)
  • Proven over the years (why else would everyone use this design?)

Rogue Design:
Advantages:
  • They DON’t have to be bolted to the ground
  • They are manual hydraulic or air/hydraulic, or convertible to electric hydraulic!
  • No additional parts or money to convert to hydraulic, we make them that way
  • Our dies are cut from 100% billet material. No welds to weaken the material or fail.
  • Vertical bending being better is an opinion, but most people prefer it.
  • You can remove material from the machine with the clamp attached to test fit, and resume a bend without a mark on the tube!
  • Our fully machined, profile matched clamps don't leave bolt gouges in your tube
  • Our bender has a built in degree wheel, it isn't a separate accessory
  • Dies are much less expensive

Disadvantages:
  • Lack of flexibility of die options (CLR, spacing, etc)
  • Proven over the years (why else would everyone use this design?)
