Chills when he says "here we go" and the screaming sound from the supercharger and tires. I would pay the money to hear that every damn day.

Any sales coming up sometime for 3.8? Im late to the bandwagon haha

I'm afraid to ask, but what's that mod do to mpg's...anything?

My RIPP Gen2 SC on my 3.8 actually increased mpg as advertised, about 2-3 MPG better...IF I keep my foot out of it. Usually it is too much fun to drive sanely, though.

Just as HappyTrails said, expect between 2-3 MPG increase, depending on individual build, and as long as you don't catch leadfootitis.

ditto - my mpg went from around 16/17 to 19/20 depending upon highway or hills....still around 12 off road lol

I'm sorry, I know I'm gonna get all kinds of hate mail, but its on a watered down road, tied to a truck. not impressed

I can do the same thing in my RIPPed 3.8 in 2WD, just holding the brakes, NOT tied to another vehicle, on DRY pavement...and make a ton more smoke. And this is on 37's with an auto!

Side note: I coughed for minutes afterwards like I had lung cancer, though. Just be sure to try this with the windows closed. D'oh!

Has yours always spun tires with The RIPP in 2wd? Mine will not do that it is Ripped with 5:13 gears, 35 in tires, and an automatic trans.

Use the diablo to disable the traction control - then try it - Also the torque management of the 3.8's is a little tough to break through, making spinning the tires harder.

I am really not concerned with spinning the tires just having power to do so. The drive ability of my system is amazing and I don't think any other system could beat that. The overall power is good however it does not seem to match up with the power that others on this forum are experiencing. I do not hot rod my ride at all however I would like all the power the system has to offer when I call on it.

The only way to find out what your making at the wheels is a dyno - then you'll know for sure.

might be worth the $50-125 to find out if she;s strong or weak... the variable is always the vehicle
