OK. I gotta make this simple, so don't make it too complex.

I be an enjineer so itz hard to make dis two simple.

When you have tires on a road...if you spin them too fast, they burn out. If you apply enough force to not break the friction forces on the road..the car goes forward.
CV joints are designed to keep the forces waves as constant as possible...making constant velocity.

If you look at tires and traction...spinning equals no traction....traction equals no spinning. Get the right amount of force at a constant velocity...you get motion. The CV joint takes the fluctuation of the shaft out of the equation and provides a smooth velocity...other factors not included.

Axles and bolts and springs....Oh My!
