Rampage is seeking input on soft top features + Special Promo!
In our continuing effort to meet customer expectations, Rampage is seeking input regarding our product offerings and feedback from customers of preferences in Jeep Soft Top features. Just how popular is the heavy duty sailcloth material and how important are features such as additional storage pockets, tinted windows, extended warranty and improved water runoff? Although any of these features can be available as special order, they, as individual items become more expensive to produce, but as a production part all these features can be included for a very modest cost.
Would it make sense to create a production top with all these improvements and upgrades over the original factory soft top? Would Jeep owners prefer these features if they were all available at a great price?
Rather than simply request opinions, Rampage is offering such a top on a trial basis to actually measure consumer reaction if given the opportunity to purchase this fully upgraded top for the same price as a standard factory replacement…….
As a limited test run, we are building a Factory Replacement-Plus Top for 1997 – 2006 Jeep TJ Wranglers; The Rampage Replacement Plus is built from premium 32 oz Sailcloth for a quieter ride with superior insulation - Patented Anti-puddle support poles raise the center of the top and extended run-off flaps above the doors insures improved water run-off - Dual interior pockets above the visors expand interior storage, matching upper half door skins at no extra charge (included but not used if your vehicle has full steel doors), self correcting marine grade zippers and to top it off, it comes with a 3 year warranty. These tops are designed to fit onto the factory framework and utilizes the factory belt rail system to secure to the vehicle.
Your choice of two colors:
912935 – Black Diamond Sailcloth
912917 – Spice Sailcloth
Get this top for a limited time for $425.81
PROMO CODE: WBPlus4
Get yours today by emailing us at info@rampageproducts.net – Be sure to put the Promo code in the subject line. Orders will be forwarded to Authorized Rampage Retailers.
We are in the business to sell soft tops, but for this, our main goal is to find out what the people want and/or need. Please tell us what you think about the top and it’s feature set as well as what things you require and don't require of a soft top.
Thanks!

Out of curiosity, where is this top made? I've been in the market. If I can get my stock bows to swing over my new cage, I'm in. My buddy has one of your fastback tops and I like the features in it. If you are making a stock replacement, I'm definitely game.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)
Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)
"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

That sounds like the soft top I'm looking for. That is a pretty good price for a top with all those options. If I weren't in the middle of an axle swap I would be buying one. I'm in desperate need of a new top. lol

I've heard that rampages leak as well. What guarantee do we get? Are these tops still in the prototype phase of development?
Thanks

Was this addressed by the company at all? I would assume it would be covered under warranty. But I don't know the specifics.

These tops are assembled overseas with several materials coming from elsewhere such as the DOT approved windows coming from here in the States.

Have you contacted us for warranty? If not, please do.
That is certainly something we cover within the warranty period. Please understand that we sell thousands of tops a year. We go through every precaution we can to avoid failures and have a less than 0.05% return/failure rate and are continually striving to improve them to bring that number even further down. Mass production can lead to goof ups but we don't like them and do our best to resolve all issues we can.

Unfortunately, that is unlikely to happen. Most laws around the country do not allow tinted front windows and we would be opened up to many issues.

Thanks for the input! I hope your axle swap goes well so you can get a top soon!

These tops come with a 3 year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects and workmanship. They are not in any prototype stage, just a feature packed top at a great price.

Based on the little info I have it, it should be covered under warranty. I need the purchaser to contact me with more details.

No offense but that is kinda lame. There are entire companies dedicated to tinting or covering headlights, taillights, and marker lights, companies that offer colored light bulbs, and companies that sell window tint outright. In fact, most of the companies at SEMA have some sort of disclaimer on their products.

My Bestop leaks pretty good too, but from a different location (the fact that I flopped my TJ and messed the top up doesn't help). That's part of the reason I lined my tub. lol
Contact them about it - I'm sure they'll take care of ya! I've heard great things about their tops.

Regardless of manufacturer (and we sell them all) there are issues I've gotten with customers reporting leaky tops. As a retailer for many different tops, I can give an unbiased review. Rampage makes an incredible top and their value for the quality you receive is tops (no pun intended). Compared to the numbers sold, there are very few that have any issues and their warranty service is a very easy process for both the consumer and retailer.
If you've not heard back from them, call them. They're great guys and gals to work with. Sometimes stuff happens with email.
