I'm in the same boat, but I need some time of hood louver, as my clear coat is getting little splits in it. I guess the FL heat and engine heat are too much for the clear coat.

Considering it's under paint warranty I might get this and have it paint matched, I don't think it stands out as much when it's matched, haven't seen any paint matched on black, but think it would be even more subtle "

Quadratec sells factory paint match spray paint now. I wonder if that would work on these? Would a clear coat spray paint needed to be added as well?

We've seen a few paint-matched to the Jeep's body color and they come out nice!

Awesome, I'm putting off on buying and installing the three piece louvers in anticipation of these.

Heres mine I love it! powder coating is nice and was everything I expected.. Quick shipping too..

First time intentionally adding irreversible damage lol

And just for info, my TJ is an 02 and I only had one nozzle.. I dont know if the PO had an 03 hood put on which I highly doubt because it has never been in a wreck as far as ive been told and as far as I can tell.. I think I must have an 02.5 or something.. So check it out and see what you have!

Looks great! It depends on when your 02 was made that year, I'm not so sure about the dates but I believe Jeep began making the earlier 03s in mid 02.

Here's an interesting look at the packaging process used to protect our aluminum TJ Hood Louver panels during transit. We had to put almost as much R&D into the custom packaging as we did for the part itself!

First the bare or powder coated Hood Louver panel first goes into a protective plastic envelope...

Specially made styrofoam box liners protect the Hood Louver during shipping. First the installation guide and cut template go in...

Next the Hood Louver panel is carefully packed into the styrofoam box liner. Hardware kit is taped into place in the corner.

The specially made cover piece holds the Hood Louver panel snugly in place while protecting the raised louvers.

The styrofoam box liner and cover, with Hood Louver panel snugly in place, is inserted into a heavy duty, specially made carton.

Once its sealed up, its ready to ship around the world and safely reach its destination.
