Couldn't a guy weld a piece of flat stock behind the inner fender with nuts welded to it after drilling the holes for the lower fender mount, thus eliminating the need for the access panels? There should be a way around this. Trevor

Sorry, the existence of the access hole is a done deal, and we have no plans to offer DeFenders without the hole. It is a feature we included to make them easier to install, since our old school tube fenders didn't have it and it was harder to install those. While the hole itself is there to stay, we are considering a couple of different variations for the insert/cover for those who would like something other than what is already offered.

We are considering other flare widths, but they will come later after we've completed the roll-out of the remaining initial models (YJ, CJ, then hi-lines).

I think the access hole covers would be sweet in a louvered/mesh design, but that's just me. If they were vented in some way, would it be possible to flush out the insides/exposed areas so that it drained somehow? Just thinking from a salt collection (anti-corrosion) angle...

A louvered version is one of the variants we are considering.

All flavors now available and well stocked for TJ/LJ! Steel or Aluminum, in Negative Flare, Zero Flare, or 3" Flare. Matching rear 3" DeFender Flare also available in steel or aluminum, by itself as a weld-on or already welded to Crusher Corners. We're still running our $100 off Intro Pricing on front DeFenders. See the website for pricing on all variants!

Yes the tubes are being phased out of our product line as the DeFenders roll out. But I believe you may still be able to order the rear tube "Crusher Flares", at least for a little while longer, just give our sales dept. a call at 951-849-5911.

Would you happen to have an original set of flared tube fenders still in stock? I've noticed that some PSC vendors are still listing them. I'd like to order but I wouldn't want to get a set of these by mistake.

Thanks

Call our sales department, they can check stock on the old tubes for you. 951-849-5911. Or email sales@poisonspyder.com if you are not able to call. Thanks,

See page 4.

Unless you're talking about a matching negative fender....which would be corner armor and no flare.
