Poison Spyder DeFender XC's ("high line" DeFenders)

Poison Spyder's Jeep TJ DeFender™ XC's provide eXtreme Clearance for big tires without having to install a tall lift, maintaining a Low Center of Gravity (LCOG) and the performance benefits that come along with it. Like our standard DeFenders™, the XC's are constructed entirely of CNC laser cut, brake-formed 3/16" plate steel or aluminum for strength and style that old school tube fenders just can't match.

Even standard DeFenders™ provide much better tire clearance than stock or some competitors' tube fenders, but DeFender™ XC's provide eXtreme Clearance!. Like with the standard DeFenders™, the back of the wheel opening is approximately 2˝" further back compared to typical tube fenders, and about 4" further back than the stock Jeep flares. But the wheel opening on the XC's is 3" higher than standard DeFenders, providing Massive Tire Clearance with minimal lift!

Initially, DeFender XC's are available for TJ in steel, in the following flare widths (aluminum and other Jeep models to follow):

TJ DeFender XC with 3" Tapered Flare (Steel)

TJ DeFender XC with Zero Flare (Steel)

TJ DeFender XC with Negative Flare (Steel)

We are also offering the DeFender XC Inner Fender Kit

And the DeFender XC "Spyder" Side Inserts

Please use the links above to see our web page for each item, with tons of information, pricing, etc.

These are ok to run with just stock inner fenders correct? Trimmed to fit of course...

What I need is a set with flares for a Rubi that will keep me legal in my state. Until then, I guess I am stuck with stock Rubi flares.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

Larry, any plans on a 3" tapered flare non highline in aluminum with a inner fender included?

I'd be all over that.

Yes those are in our plans. The TJ 3" flare standard DeFenders will be revamped to the tapered flare design, and optional inner fenders will also be made available for the standard DeFenders. We do not have a timeline for any of these yet, but they are all on our to-do list.

Do you have an idea of what the aluminum will weight (guess) versus what the steel weighs?

DeFender XC's are available in 3" Tapered Flare, No Flare, and Negative Flare, all in steel at this point (still no firm ETA on alum). Also available is the DeFender XC Inner Fender Kit.

The aluminum version will be less than half the weight of steel. Actually closer to 1/3 the weight.
