Poison Spyder Brawler MID Front Bumper for JK

http://pix.poisonspyder.com/Products...Mid-1024-L.jpg

The Brawler MID front bumper for JK is a "mid-width", high clearance bumper designed to combine off-road performance with full features. This bumper is fabricated from 3/16" plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. The ends of the bumper extend farther outboard than our Brawler Lite bumper, to about half the width of the tires. This provides increased brush protection for the grille corners and fenders, and gives the Jeep a more "expeditionary" look than our more rock-crawling specific bumpers.

The Brawler MID has all of the features that made the Brawler Lite such a popular bumper, including:
  • Constructed entirely of 3/16" CNC laser cut, brake-formed steel plate
  • Optional Brawler Bar made of 1-1/2" .120 wall DOM Tubing
  • Recessed mounts for factory fog lamps (or use our adapters for Rigid Industries Duallys)
  • Optional high clearance recovery shackle tabs, CNC machined from 1" steel plate
Please see our web page for the Brawler MID for a detailed product description, complete list of features and benefits, FAQ's and pricing.

bumper question

I've got two questions.

Has anyone bought one yet? (here on the forum)

Can you get it with a larger diameter bull bar? Like a 2" or 2 1/2" bar?

Just curious,
Soulman

I don't know specifically if any of the customers who have bought it so far are members of this forum specifically. But there are a lot of photos from customers popping up in our thread over on JK-Forum.

Sorry we do not offer different OD tubing. Thanks for your inquiry!

Thanks, just checking. I love your stuff and plan on placing a large order with very shortly. Had to do something with that tax refund:D

Sorry, another question, is there an issue mounting a Warn Zeon? I was planning on getting the Zeon 10s along with this bumper but heard there might be an issue mounting it.

Yes the Zeon touches at the ends, due to the depression in the top plate of the bumper. We will be cutting some spacers to use specifically with the Zeon winches that will solve this. It only needs to be raised about 1/8". I think our spacers will be 3/16" thick. Just inquire about the spacers when you place your order. Thanks!

Would the use of your winch fairlead mount give enough space, or is the spacer in addition to the fairlead mount?

The fairlead mount is just a tad shy of giving the zeon enough lift. So the spacers will have to be used WITH the fairlead mount.

We've had a ton of inquiries about compatibility of the new Warn Zeon winches with our Brawler Lite and Brawler MID front bumpers. If you're familiar with the Zeon winch, you know it has some very large motor and gear drive housings on either side, which hang down wide and low to the mounting surface. This was a problem with the slight recess in the top surface of our bumpers, but we've now solved the issue with this simple pair of spacers that lifts the Zeon winch slightly to provide ample clearance all around. So if you're ordering a Brawler Lite or Brawler MID for use with a Zeon winch, don't forget to throw in a pair of these spacers! CLICK HERE for more info or to order.

I don't have any installed shots of one. I'm not sure if we've even sold any like that yet.
