$150 for a u-joint! How good are OX u-joints anyway?

Holy old threads batman! The OX joints may cost $150, but they're actually one of the least expensive "super" joints on the market. Yukon Super-Joints run just under $200/ea, and CTMs are about $238/ea. The Longfield 300M u-joints run $165/ea.
As far as how "good" they are, all I can relay are 2nd and 3rd hand experiences, but most go like, "so-and-so has them and beats the piss out of their rig and hasn't busted one yet". You'd probably read the same about most of the other super joints as well though.

Yea I was on the OX site and saw the u-joints (I didn't even know OX sold u-joints) so I searched here on JF and did some extreme thread revival!

Wish this announcement would have been made a month ago when I ordered my ox lockers.
![]() Good luck with Ox. I ordered a rear Ox Locker from Quadratec a month ago and just got it 2 days ago. Quadratec kept getting excuses about delays in component parts, it being "on the truck," etc etc. Called Superior for their Evolution kits and asked why they no longer offered Ox Lockers in their packages... the answer was they could not get a steady supply. The Ox u-joints look nice but aren't they specifically for off-road and low-speed only??? |

It took OX 4 months to get my locker made and sent. It was ridiculous.
