That is my understanding 2. There should actually be enough to do about 3 coats since you are supposed to do thin coats to prevent bubbling.

Chassis Saver offers no grip. Need a bedliner.
Check out Monstaliner

You won't be disappointing with the Monstaliner. I don't think there is a single customer that I have seen complain. The only bad thing I have seen was a couple of user error chips (like mine because it wasn't fully cured), and MagnetMan took care of them.

How much coverage could I get with one quart of chassis saver? Does it have to be rolled on or sprayed?
Im sure its been covered but I'm just curious

1 quart covers 90 sq ft. So with the recommended 2 coat minimum over rust that would be 45 sq ft. coverage from 1 quart
A typical F150 frame uses 2.5 - 3 quarts to do everything in 2 coats.
I would never roll Chassis Saver, only brush. Rolling forces air into the liquid and it could cure with bubbles.
Spray is no problem just reduce 10 to 15% with our S8 Reducer or xylene/xylol

Don't roll it. Husband tried rolling it and it DID end up having bubbles. Even with a smooth foam roller.
Brush turned out ALOT better.

Another reason why that happens is because it can go on too heavy with a roller.
Moisture cure urethanes react with moisture in atmosphere to cure. As that happens, carbon dioxide escapes the film and if
coating is on too heavy and is starting to thicken and set up, the bubbles can't break and get trapped in the cured film.
Brush or spray, thin coats only!

Bottom of tub took only 1 full quart of Chassis Saver; I sprayed it at about 60 degrees, reduced with about 10% S8 reducer. Used a $40 Harbor Freight HVLP gun http://www.harborfreight.com/air-too...gun-66222.html using the included tip at around 45 psi. 2 coats, 1/2 quart each.

Boodyrider,

MM,
Im looking to place my order here soon. Couple questions - its about 20 degrees here in Ohio, I can get the garage up to about 45-50, will this be a suitable temp to apply the Chassis Saver?
Also, if I plan to brush on the product, do I need the S8 reducer?
I appricate the info!

45-50 is ok and about lowest you want to be. There's no problem using Chassis Saver or Monstaliner at these temps except they will cure slower.
S8 reducer in not needed to brush CS. Only to thin for spray. Sometimes, and especially in cold weather, stored paints will be thicker and harder to
brush so at these times it may help to have some reducer on hand and at any time for cleanup. Store at room temp or slightly above
for 24 hrs bef use to avoid problems.
Xylol/xylene is the only suitable replacement for S8 and avail at Hm Depot or Lowes.

Monstaliner on the bottom, two coats over two coats silver Chassis Saver.
I brushed and rolled the Monstaliner. Didn't want to try to spray it as cold as my work area was.
