No, but that sounds like an interesting idea.

There are some good pics from Magnetman using fiberglass + Chassis Saver to restore a pickup of some sort.

application process for the rust preventative

Obvously, you must use some sort of air powered spray gun. which one works the best?

brushed coat thick, give or take a little over a half quart did the entire floor in an xj + the wheel tubs on the inside. so one court will probabaly get you 2 good coats if not maybe 3 coats inside a tj tub.

You can easily get 3 coats on the inside of a TJ with the quart sized.

So would chassis saver get rid of all surface rust? Like on a hood or roof? Can it be painted over?

Besides my XJ I might get some to use on my 71 Charger project. So I need alittle more info on how well it works. Coz I have no doubt it works great. Just the full length of what it can do.

General, maybe you are talking about a gallon?

I did my tub this weekend - 1 quart got me 1 coat with about 1/4 left in the quart can.

Just a heads up for those of you that want to use several coats on your tub...
Magnetman says the coverage per quart is 90-100 sf and the TJ tub is approximately 60.

General, not calling you out - just trying to help people out that might be in the same situation I was this weekend, expecting to do several coats of CS before ML was put down.

Well... I had to thin mine a lot because of the humidity, so it went on a little thinner. Maybe thats why I have such a discrepancy with coat spread?

We thinned ours like the directions said and we were able to spray on 2 coats also from 1qt.

This special would be of interest to me. Any idea when you would post this and how long the special would run for?

Couple of questions. Sorry if they have already been asked; I only got through the first 5 pages before i jumped to the end.

Do you ship to Canada (Toronto, Ontario)? And when painting the underside of the Jeep, is it recommended to tape off any parts or just go over everything? Wouldnt it be a problem when taking off parts if something were to break? I am a total noob so i think taking the body off the frame is way too difficult for me lol.
