VIKING SOFT TOPS
Viking Soft Tops are currently made for Jeep Wrangler (TJ) 1996-2006. Our plans are to expand the line of soft tops to the LJ (Unlimited 2004-2006) and YJ (1987-1995), including the yearly YJ's that came with the CJ style roll bar. After the LJ's and YJ's have been completed design of the new JK models will take place.

The Viking Soft Tops are made in Southern California with OEM quality materials such as the HAartz Denim and Sailcloth fabrics that came on the Jeeps. We also use the same 40 gauge tinted window material that is the same as the facotry tops. The zippers are all YKK factory type coil zippers that are easier to operate because they do not turn corners like the original ones.

Viking Fast Back tops - What is different about them?
The Jeep Soft Tops are frameless tops meaning they do not use the metal bows of the factory tops. The tops simply fit over the exsiting roll bar utilizing the factory tailgate bar and Door Surrounds. They do require the purchase of a Windshield Channel (header bar) to attach the front.

The side windows and rear window can be unzipped in mere seconds for a fully open vehicle. We have also devised an ingenious storage compartment (patent pending) for the windows with a special bag with fabric separating panels to help preserve the windows from scratches and dust. The windows are concealed between a ceiling panel and the roof panel above the roll bar so they are completely out of the way not taking up any valuable interior space.

Requirements: The Viking Fast Back requires a Windshield Channel (Header Bar) by Bestop, Smittybilt or equivalent. If you are switching from a hard top you will also need a Tail Gate Bar and Door Surrounds.

Colors - Fabric: Currently only Black Denim is available. Black Sailcloth version will be available shortly (approximately 8 -12 weeks). Both Denim and Sailcloth are factory OEM identical materials that came on the Wranglers. We do not expect to have additional colors for some time. Please let us know if you are interested on other colors by sending your request through our contact page and we will supply based on demand in the future.

My soft top has seen better days. It's between this and a replacement sailcloth top. Both cost about the same ... I'm worried about highway noise I commute a lot and it's my DD.
