Memorial Day sale on Fawkes modular recovery & bull bar mounts for WJs.

You asked for it, we listened.

Newly redesigned to be modular and adaptable to multiple vehicles, we separated out our bull bar mounting tabs and MiniMax recovery unit and added the ability to add D-ring shackles without the full MiniMax treatment. These are brand new products, not yet available on our website, and we’re giving Jeepforum.com members the first crack at them.

Product Details & Pricing after 4/15/12

WJ Modular Mounting Brackets & Installation Kit: MSRP $82.00

Laser cut 0.25” A36 steel. Textured black powdercoat.
Includes two brackets, two support plates, eight ½”x2.5” Grade 8 flange bolts, six ½”x1.25” Grade 8 bolts with washers, 14 ½” Grade 8 locking flange nuts, & 6 push-pin fasteners.

Use as a base to construct your own bumper, or add your choice of the recovery/protection products we offer below. Each mounting bolt carries shear strength to yield of 4.5 tons. When combined with the MiniMax Modular Recovery Mount, you will rip the assembly out of your uniframe before anything bends or breaks.

Note: Bumper fascia removal and some drilling required. Limited Lifetime Warranty (standard installation). "If You Can Break It, We'll Replace It" Limited Lifetime Warranty (with MiniMax installation).

Universal Bull Bar Tabs: MSRP $30.00

Laser cut and CNC brake bent 0.19” A36 steel. Textured black powdercoat.
Includes four ½”x1” Grade 8 flange bolts (must re-use two M13 bolts if mounting a Texas Hunter bull bar).

Sized and bent from 3/16” steel specifically to mount either the Texas Hunter (available separately from the manufacturer) or the Fawkes Heavy Duty bull bar (coming soon) to our Modular Mounting Brackets. Relocates your bull bar around 6” higher to increase ground clearance and approach angle, as well as increase lateral and horizontal stability.

No trimming required. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Universal 5/8” Shackle Tabs (pair): MSRP $50.00

Laser cut 0.75” A36 steel. Textured black powdercoat.

When used in conjunction with our vehicle-specific Modular Mounting Brackets, these are a direct replacement for your factory tow hooks with no trimming required and no loss of ground clearance. Bolt-on and sized to fit a 5/8” shackle, with a straight line pull WLL rating of 3.25 tons (6500 lbs).

"If You Can Break It, We'll Replace It" Limited Lifetime Warranty.

MiniMax Modular Recovery Mount: MSRP: $250.00
Laser cut 0.25”x3” A500 steel square tube, A500 steel 2” receiver hitch, two ¾” A36 steel shackle tabs. Textured black powdercoat.

This Minimalist design and Maximum strength bolt-on recovery solution nests in the front bumper fascia of your Jeep, almost looks like it came from the factory that way, and gives you just about every option conceivable to get unstuck from anywhere. With the new modular redesign, we've included the ability to mount a variety of different bull bars and brush guards for protection, light mounting, and cosmetics.

The 1/4" thick, 3"x3" ASTM A-500B square tube backbone of the MiniMax is almost 50% stronger than our nearest competitor's product and the Working Load Limit of the MiniMax Recovery Mount almost doubles the industry standard for Jeep recovery - with a safety factor of at least 300%. It features a super-solid 2" receiver hitch able to mount up to a 12,500# winch/cradle as well as box and slot-welded shackle tabs capable of handling 7 tons (1400 lbs) with our optional Heavy Duty Alloy D-ring Shackles. Your vehicle’s approach angle remains virtually identical to stock, and ground clearance is totally unaffected.

Note: ZJs, 99-03 WJs, and KJs will require the bumper fascia to be trimmed to fit. No trimming is required on 2004 WJ or WK models. "If You Can Break It, We'll Replace It" Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Heavy Duty Alloy D-ring Shackles (7t WLL): MSRP $33.00 each/$60.00 pair

3/4" diameter galvanized alloy steel shackle, 7/8" diameter galvanized alloy clevis pin. 7 ton (14,000 Lbs.) Working Load Limit. Far superior to standard 3/4" D-Rings (which carry a WLL rating of 3-4.75 tons), you might find cheaper shackles that will fit your MiniMax, but why would you want to gamble with inferior hardware? Natural silver color with orange-painted clevis to denote manufacturer/load rating. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

In the works/coming soon:

ZJ, WK, and KJ Modular Mounting Brackets
Fawkes Heavy Duty Bull Bar
Universal Brush Guard brackets for Westin and Texas Hunter style brush guards
Universal Winch Cradle

Have a look at the prices under "Product Details & Pricing after 4/15/12".

For this Memorial Day week (through 6/1), I'll honor the original sale prices above.

Edit: Title and sale end date changed to reflect new dates.

Just the TruckGearDirect "Hunter" bull bar. Westin brush guards (and others) might be mountable with some creative cutting.

Since you're (somewhat) local, I'd be willing to try to adapt if you already have a brush guard and purchase one of our products.
