I made mention the other day over on the Grand Cherokee forum that Doug Thorley headers are taking a large price jump January 1st. Prices are going up 13%!

If you've been thinking about headers for your 4.0, 5.2, or 5.9 Jeep, now's the time to nab a set. The Thorley headers are truly the best quality - 14 gauge tubing with thick laser cut flanges. They are triple nickel chrome plated, with optional ceramic coating. The headers have a lifetime warranty.

PM'd you for info on my 98 4.0 Wrangler with a manual trans...

I had the doug thorley on my old 99 xj and i loved it... i put it on to replaced a stock cracked one but it was well worth the money. There was a slight improvement in power and the construction was great. It never lost its shine either.

99 Ford Expedition 5.4L if they do....

Right now Thorley has 4.0 I6 headers available in ceramic coat only. By the time they make another batch of chrome plated headers, the price increase will be in effect.

Naturally, ceramic is more expensive, but it's worth it - The 4.0 makes a lot of heat and this will keep it off your intake manifold, keeping the incoming airstream colder, and that means more power. The coating is applied to the outside and the inside of the header. Both the header and the coating have a lifetime warranty.

I'm reducing the price of the ceramic headers even further for this sale. Regular price is $525.00 plus shipping. The sale price will be $460.00 with free shipping anywhere in the USA.

To put it in perspective, after the price increase, the chrome plated header will be right about the same price as my sale price for the ceramic header.

Thorley has headers for hundreds of applications.

They do have one for the Expedition with the 5.4. It's a shorty header and it's priced at $373.00 in chrome. Free shipping applies to everything they sell as part of the sale.
