JK Frame-Built Bumpers by MetalCloak

The JK Frame-Built Bumpers are now available on MetalCloak.com

Designed from the ground up, not adapted like some companies do, the JK Frame-Built Bumper includes an integrated winch plate that can fit up to a Warn Powerplant and a built-in skid plate providing the best approach angle in the industry.

Like our original Frame-Built system, we offer a wide variety of options for your bumper including integrated stingers, beefy end caps, and custom fairleads.

And with the JK Frame-Built bumper is our first offering of our Video Instruction Project, putting all our installation instructions on video.

Watch the video and see just how easy it is to gain clearance, style and rock-biting strength for your JK.

That's pretty cool Are end caps that go the full original length of the bumper available ? In Manitoba the law is such that you can't run a stubby without chancing a ticket . There are specific rules for bumpers ......4" front profile that goes completely across the front of the tires . I really like the way that bumper looks and would be interested in one if it were of legal dimentions .........Thanks

Thanks for the Kudos, our widest configuration currently is 60" from end to end.

All PM's have been answered.

#1 Question: Is there an option for those who don't have/want a winch.

Answer: Yes. In about a week we will release the non-winch version that includes mounting points for the stock fog lights.

Got a question on another post, so wanted to share it here...

Q: Is the Electronic Sway Bar Relocation Kit available without buying the bumper?

A: Yes it is. You can buy it here: JK Sway Bar Ground Clearance kit

Got another question to share here...

Q: Where do you place the stock headlights?

A: For now, stock lights are placed on top of the end caps (housings coming soon) or if you do not want a winch, or do not plan on having a winch, we have a version of the bumper (see below) that full covers the winch opening and places the stock lights where the fairlead would be.

Just shipped another bumper to a brave service member in the Middle East. It reminds me time and again of the men and women who ready to pay the ultimate price for the amazing freedoms we share everyday.

If you or a member of your family have served... THANK YOU!

The boys at Rubicon Express are trying out one of our Frame-Built Bumpers on their JK. This configuration has the 60" Caps, the Aluminum Fairlead and the Winch Guard.

A little update from the Vendor Forum post:

Quote:
The Countdown has begun...

We will officially release our JK Body Armor including Front & Rear Fenders and Rockers at Off Road Expo this Saturday, October 9, at 8:30 AM-ish (depends on if I get my coffee kick or not).

Any "Spy" pics released before then, are, according to our Apple-like, official statement, not true. Really. Honestly.

Upon Expo Release, we will of course post lots of pics here and in the JK Tech area for your usual great feedback, comments, and quote requests.

As many of you know, our founding company, Rev111, was not only the innovators behind the incredible Arched Tube Fenders, but, as it turns out, they were also recognized as the first developer of Tube Fenders for the JK.

While, as MetalCloak, we never took those JK fenders into production, it was great to know we had such awesome heritage.

Like everything we do, we knew we could develop a better fender for the JK. So we returned to the drawing board, applied all the lessons learned from users across the country over the last couple years and developed from the ground up our new, incredibly rugged, JK Body Armor system.

Designated the Overline, the fenders are truly a hybrid of the Arched and the Overline fenders, breaking the rules and following non-traditional lines.

Once again, we've achieved the most clearance in the industry by raising the fender and flare ABOVE the stock flare lines of the JK. The Red Rubi is running 37" Good-Year MTRs on a Stock Rubicon -- that's no lift.

The quick release removable flares come in 8" (1" over stock width) and 5" (2" below stock width). With the flare removed the fenders have a built in rub rail.

Using the internal bracing seen here, our fenders achieve the same level of rugged rock-biting strength that has been proven time and again with our other product lines.

The MetalCloak Body Armor system for the JK includes the distinctive Rocker Rail, with build in deflector plates and optional MetalCloak Exo-Skins (not seen in this pic).

The rear Quick Release removable flares, bolt directly onto a rugged Exo-Skin that gives just the right about of extreme clearance. Additional bracketry (not shown here) creates our trademark rock-biting strength.

So there you have it -- finally -- Rock-Biting Body Armor for your JK.

Additional product information will go live on our website on Monday, October 11.

We are in pre-order mode, so please call to place your order at 916-631-8071.

We look forward to your feedback!
