I did have to use a blade to get my old plastic door sills off and I think the blade got under the paint cleanly and I just didn't get that flake off. I can't blame the liner - it was still attached to the paint.

This is 100% my fault for not verifying all prep before laying it down.

So some touch up stuff will be nice for those little oopsies. I'm REALLY happy with this stuff!
You should have the touch up stuff. Pop open the can, peel back the top skin, add a little MEK, then dab it on. Underneath the skin there is still usable liner for a while as long as the can was kept closed.

We postponed. Last weekend really turned out to be a crappy time. It was super windy and had a slight drizzle. We'll wait until we have time to have the rig down for a few days

Yeah it does. Especially when it's our only vehicle that will sit both car seats. Hopefully next year we'll get another Jeep for the hubby that can be our wheelin toy.

This thread is making me want to stop putting off bed lining my jeep.

Would I need 2 gallons for the inside of a jk unlimited?

I could also use some of that chassis saver.

hmmm you are making me think

Matt, 1 "should" be enough in my opinion based on how much I had left over from my install. If MagnetMan could hook you up with the first quart, that would be a way to guarantee safety. What are the actual interior dimensions of the JK?

If you have plans for the left overs, or want 3 coats, 2 gallons would work well.

Depends on how much energy you have. 2 or 3 days. Jeep prep is tedious compared to pickup beds

1 Gallon does about 60 sq feet x 2 coats

Let me know what you measure please. I've been asked a number of times about the unlimited and I don't know the footage.

Thanks

A Jeep could be done (not put back together though) in 2 days. If you prep and do 1 coat in the first day, then do a second coat in the second day, you should be able to put it back together on the third. I guess you might be able to put it back together on the second if you really push it, but I wouldn't.
