The one that came in the upol kit 5 years ago when I did my tub. I am thinking about painting the monsta emblem In black. I doubt the sticker is going to stay there on the liner like that. Not sure I wanted it on my windshield.(it is cracked right now anyway.)

Red and black YJ

I have read thru all 802 pages of this thread and I am very impressed with your product. I am planning Lady In Red for the exterior and inside the tub. The family bar, grill, flares, and bumpers will be black. I think three gallons of red for the body and 1 gallon of black for the rest. I also need two quarts of Chassis Saver for the frame and bottom of the tub. Does this sound right to everyone? I am going with the Dirtworx bumpers front and back as I don't have a rear bumper and the front tube bumper is rotting away. Have to start with the CS because summer is here and the humidity is really high now. Let me know what you think and any other ideas or tips would be great. Thanks

Hi new to this forum main reason I registered was to find out about monstaliner. I read through a bunch of the post but not all 802 of them is it possible to tint it with automotive paint to get a closer color match than the tints you have? I ordered the tint samples to see if anything is close. Looks like a great product, once i try it I'll be sure to post up on some other forums.

Sorry, very busy this week.

3 red + 1 black sounds correct. 2 quarts CS is also correct.

Latest info on auto tints mixed with tintable Monstaliner has changed. I've heard of a few compatibility issues with some basecoat tints killing pot life and it's impossible to test all the variations available on the market.

Personally tested and verified: PPG Shopline single stage tints. Have the auto paint store omit all binders, reducers and balancers. You want the concentrated tints only. Add 8 to 10 ounces of this per gallon of tintable liner. Metallics should only be sprayed to ensure uniformity.

Thank you for getting back to me. I have another question for you. How much primer would I need for the bumpers and which type would be best (2K or the universal)?

I'm assuming the bumpers are bare metal...
2K epoxy will always be better for adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Not much needed. Prob have less than 10 sq ft on 2 bumpers.

We sell Magnapoxy 2K epoxy primer in 2 Quart Kits (1/2 gallon total) or 2 gallon kits.
2 Qt kit covers 180 sq ft with 1 coat, 90 sq ft/2 coats
This material can be rolled or sprayed with conventional or HVLP guns.

If you need a smaller amount of 2K epoxy primer you can find one of these products online.
These are spray cans that contain 2 components. Once mixed they have a 4 day pot life.

This is what happens when Chassis Saver is left on a paint shaker too long
