I did roof first so I wasnt leaning against any fresh Monsta on the sides while doing the roof.

I had the front and rear bumper covers removed and the front fenders as well.

Fenders arent necessary to remove but I had to get to a rust spot so I removed them. I would recommend removing the bumper covers so you can paint them fully but its up to you.

Golf clubs may rust in the car wash but you can run ML through there with no problem

I'll be purchasing a 2 gallon kit from you guys when you open up next year for my ZJ. I figured 2 gallons should be enough for it.. right? And with that purchase I get a gallon of chassis saver? Also I was reading the posts on the other page.. Do you guys recommend a primer? Or just bare metal?

Can't wait to make my purchase and get this on! It's going to look great!

2 gals should be enough
Promo includes 1 free quart CS (not gallon)

ML can not go direct to bare metal, must use primer unless it's small spots involving rust where you can coarse sand (50 - 60 grit) to bare metal and use CS as a spot primer.

Hey I also have a ZJ. I was told 2 gallons would be enough. And magnetman said that if it is clean bare metal to prime it with a quality automotive primer. I went ahead and bought his 2k epoxy primer. I believe that if it's heavy rust chassis saver will be fine as a primer so long as it's ruff enough for the chassis saver to stick to. What color were you planning on doing? I went with desert sand.

Oh OK. So bare metal as in what I'm sanding right? Not fresh bare metal or anything like a bumper? I was thinking of black although I'd like to see that color that's similar to gun metal on a vehicle. I was going to Plastidip my ZJ gun metal then maybe matte black after that, but I don't live in a great area and my vehicles, and others, keep getting keyed, so I decided to fix that issue lol.

Oh OK. I'll be missing the deadline then. So I was watching a video on applying the liner with a roll on. Pretty sweet how the roller gives it that texture. Could I use a different roller for a different outcome or is that not advised?

Regular promo will renew after 12/31
Not advised.. We've tested every alternate roller we've found that was a possibility all with poor results
