I vote this as the new recommended method of keeping bolt holes clear of liner
I still think the recent post showing the bolts that are supposed to go in the holes just taped and screwed in was the absolute best idea. Tape the upper half of the bolt and screw it in until the tape meets the surface. Do the lining and back out the bolt while wet. Lather, rinse, repeat.
This looks like the easiest. No issues with loosing a piece of anything. No issues forgetting a piece and then having to cut it out. No prep time to speak of. Nothing to get lost. Nothing to buy. Never too small, too far in, or too far out.
The only thing that I can see that might be an issue is to make sure the bolt is all the way in to the tape. I really wish that I would have known about this when I did mine.
