1 gallon does 60 sq ft so I would do some quick measurements to see what you have
It is a standard Ez-Go cart. Original fiberglass body. No paint.

First coat. Love the color! The coverage on the first coat is questionable as far as I am concerned but I know it will be fine second coat. By the way, whoever recommended ear plugs to plug the screw holes has never worked with me! I ended up with a dozen big old flipping warts attached loosely to my roller, brush, fingers and driveway. All I had to do was look at them and the came out.

But got the first coat done anyway!

I am thinking that I shoulda spent ten bucks or whatever for cheapo bolts to sacrifice from the hardware store. Just paint them and back them out 1/4 inch or so and the do second coat. Pull them all the way. I do have many of the larger bolt holes that worked. They are the large torx like for the set belts and such. Those stayed in fine.

I do find it humorous that I could not work tith these ear plugs. I have used near half dozen pair a day for the last 10 years at work. I know how they work and how to use them. Maybe I was just out of it or something. I guess I will be chasing threads soon if I even wanna put my rear seat back in....

What I learned:
1) tape off everything you don't want monstaliner on. No kidding. Take the time. Do it well.
2) work in small batches like the instructions say
3) plan your route. This is especially important with help. I dragged my beard through the edges. I have it on arms and legs. Just work methodically. Better to follow person with brush with your roller.
4) leave it alone when it begins to set. I found that it was easy to overwork it.
5) if you dribble or run, fix it immediately.
6) if you don't want it there remove the extra immediately and then wipe clean with MEK ASAP.
7) wear gloves. I don't and my hands are orange and bothered by the MEK

More final pictures in a couple of hours.

The bars will get black monstaliner when I can finally get some. Any recommendations on doing the round bars and getting then even?

Are you planning to coat the entire rollbar?

I just did mine where they are not covered by the rollbar pad. Simply measured up and put a tape line. The liner never dripped or ran when I applied it to the rollbar.

I also found it easier to take them out; both for the tub lining and the rollbar lining. Too late for this though!

Looks good!

I guess what my questioning comes from is what is the prep required to spray this on fiberglass? I know I won't need a full gallon to cover it, but I can use it for another project.

I just need to know what other products to buy/use to prep the fiberglass for the liner. What is the prep work required?

Question though, I have been looking for MEK but everybody only has MEK substitute. Will it suffice?

I used bolts. I brushed the CS and sprayed the ML. Rolling the ML could be a pain with the bolts in the way. I removed the bolts to scuff each time.

prepping the bolts with tape. the tape sealed the top of the threads stopping and paint from seeping in.

bolts installed. Scuffed and ready for CS

Shiny CS

Scuffed CS

Monstaliner sprayed on

All the bolts are still usable. I used some to bolt the seats down.

Great idea with the bolts. I will be using that trick. Only one thing, why did you scuff the CS? I thought you didn't have to if you sprayed before it cured.

Yes. I had that question and was already answered in a previous post. I just finished mine and worked perfectly.
