Did I not see some pics one time where you had stenciled something on there?

I did my lower rocker panels, rubi-rails and ACE rails. I am extremely pleased with the results!

One question. In the Installation Guide, it states
"12) PLACING TRUCK BED BACK IN SERVICE:

• Spray a light water mist over coated surfaces 18 to 24 hours after final coat is installed.

• Allow 24 to 48 hours after coating has dried for light duty use. Do not throw or drag heavy or sharp items in truck bed until coating has fully cured which will take 7 days.
"
What exactly does the light water mist do? Do I need to do that to my rails? I was planning to put the rails on tomorrow evening (about 30 hrs after 2nd coat). Or should I wait the 7 days?

Thanks for your input.

Ok one more question, the install guide also states that you have 6-10 hrs of working time, once mixed. Mine was skimming over after an hour, even with the mixed bucket of paint covered. What is the best way to keep the paint while waiting to do 2nd coat? I only used half of the gallon, so it was in a mixing bucket and recapping in the original can was not an option.

FYI there are about a dozen Indiana guys wanting to check this out at our next suds and grup this sunday. I think you have more sales coming.

Any chance I could get a swatch of the OD and Sans Panties or do I have to buy the entire set of swatches? Every photo I look at seems be different by several shades.. Its hard to trust the color temperature of a photo since some are shot indoors under florescent and some outdoors. Thanks!

Jumped the gun a while back and bought a tintable package around Nov of 2011 and ended up selling the blue CJ7 I had and bought a copper CJ7 of which I did a big rebuild of... My father also passed away and I lost all planned time to finish up the CJ.
Needless to say, I am finally about ready to use the kit but will it still be good being about 18 months old? Eric sent me a color match copper paint to mix in a few months back and I hope it is all not toast...

Thanks for any input!

It only hurts while you're breathing..

as long as it has not been opened you should still be ok. i think i remember reading on here that someone had their black kit sitting for almost 2 years and still had good results.
