It is close to 95f here all the time, as it is desert. Can I still use this stuff? I would have to do it in my barn,
and it is not cooled or even vented much.
What I want to do is, the top of my Cherokee has rusted, and the hood is crazing like crazy. I can remove the paint, and then primer the top easily to remove all the rust, and it won't be too bad as you can't see the roof very well. BUT, the hood is another story...I would like to keep the resale value up, and putting a textured coating on the hood would look kind of weird.
My Jeep is a pretty metallic midnight blue, and it appears the factory screwed the pooch on prep, as the paint is crazed, and even peeling on the roof. Yeah, it is a 2001, but it is still worth something, so would like to keep some resale.
Local body shps all give me an estimate of $2500, and that is JUST the roof, and hood! Sounds like bent over the barrel to me!
Ok, let me know what you think ok? Here in the desert, we have blazing heat about 8 months a year, then 2 months of nice weather in fall, and two months of freezing weather, ( 20's and 30's) all winter.

Eric does home depot or anything sell the tiny rollers or sponges like you have? Going to do my door jams but the small roller itself broke and I only had the one sponge.

Hey Eric. I'm still holding that small kit you sent me to do my fix. I am wrapped up for the next few weeks. I am wondering what kind of time frame I have to use this?

General question for the Jeep guys...

Did anyone have alignment issues with the rollbars after you put down monstaliner? I removed my roll bars and plan to line the entire floor and the lower portion of the rollbar itself (including the feet), and then re-install. I'm wondering if this will create an alignment issue for the vertical holes.

Sorry I'm not much help here. I left my rollbar in and done my tub and bars. I did completely disassemble my exterior. And I mean completely. I had no alignment problems putting everything back together went smooth. I put a lot of ML down on my exterior too. So I would say u would not have a problem.

I removed the roll bar Chassis Saver and Montstaliner applied to everything. It went back together with no problems.

Just finished both coats of the interior. Still have a half gallon left, I thought I was pretty generous with each coat...
