It is close to 95f here all the time, as it is desert. Can I still use this stuff? I would have to do it in my barn,
and it is not cooled or even vented much.
What I want to do is, the top of my Cherokee has rusted, and the hood is crazing like crazy. I can remove the paint, and then primer the top easily to remove all the rust, and it won't be too bad as you can't see the roof very well. BUT, the hood is another story...I would like to keep the resale value up, and putting a textured coating on the hood would look kind of weird.
My Jeep is a pretty metallic midnight blue, and it appears the factory screwed the pooch on prep, as the paint is crazed, and even peeling on the roof. Yeah, it is a 2001, but it is still worth something, so would like to keep some resale.
Local body shps all give me an estimate of $2500, and that is JUST the roof, and hood! Sounds like bent over the barrel to me!
Ok, let me know what you think ok? Here in the desert, we have blazing heat about 8 months a year, then 2 months of nice weather in fall, and two months of freezing weather, ( 20's and 30's) all winter.
