if didn't sand through the factory primer then you should be ok to skuff it up and clean it then roll.
anywhere there's metal showing i would put the chassis saver.

i have finishd all the body work and debadged the jeep one step closer right? lol Im starting prep Wednesday. And plan on rolling sometime in the week after the holiday weekend. also question because i want to use the little bit of left overs on the plastic "jeep" cover on the front frame rail. i need adhesion promoter correct?

I ended up priming the whole bed floor, spotting the bedsides.

Eric, I'm finding it hard to believe that you said to use that spray bomb primer. That is for enamel topcoats and will wipe off easy with MEK.

That's the same primer I always recommend if you have some sand through spots.

You're not wiping the primer with MEK.. just rolling ML over it

I had just finished MEK'ing off the rattle can primer Cuder I ended up just using CS on the bare metal spots.

If you can't stand behind our troops feel free to stand in front of them!

There's always a method to my madness

When the primer is used as the last step after wiping everything with MEK it's not an issue

Yes on the adhesion promoter... got a photo of this cover you talking about? Is it a different type of plastic from flares?

Here's a clearer picture of the completed top exterior and a view of what this whole thing is going to look like if folks were having trouble picturing. The flip up wall cores are now completed and test fit in place in this photo. I am currently fiber glassing those now. Then I need to build/fit a door. After that the bottom half of the camper will get faired, primed and monstalined.
