Ordered a gallon kit of Lady in red last night. If you're going to order some, make sure you read the Promo page all the way thru before trying to order. I had to search for a little while before I found the coupon codes. But, I'm old and it was late.

I asked the same question a little bit ago.
Recoat Chassis saver after 3-5 hours or when dry to the touch. Apply Monstaliner within 24 hours or you'll have to rescuff the CS.

Has anyone tried color matching a pewter GM truck? I love the product, used it in my tub, but now it's the trucks turn. Desert sand or Killer beej seems to be the closest, but I'm not too sure.

Jump back to post 10070. Someone talked about it not being tough but then someone else in defense incorrectly stated it was just as tough. In reality as you've pointed out its in the middle. I hopefully clarified that its a tough urethane paint but is not the same thing as polyurea.

Seriously considering painting my whole XJ in monstaliner.

Any way to avoid the texture, or lessen it? I assume different rollers would do the trick.

There's no way to completely avoid texture with ML. It's too thick. Flat, non-texture rollers make a mess

See in the far side of this sheet being rolled.. that's the texture after 2nd coat.
In the foreground of the pic, the coating is being re-rolled once it's gotten sticky to enhance the texture. If you simply avoid the re-rolling it lays flatter with a wavy surface and less bumpiness

I'd want to go for a finish like this:

Looks like he just followed your instructions for applying it.

Magnetman,

I've got a coworker that just bought a new Wrangler in the color Rock Lobster. He's leaning towards ordering Monstaliner in black, but is curious if you have a comparable color match to the Rock Lobster.

I think that Road Rash will be close but it contains lead

We're working on lead free replacements for the 4 colors with lead
