Thanks Ryan, I will but those things to good use.

We are planning to release acrylic enamel automotive paints color matched to all Monstashades colors.

Someone from the forum asked for a quart of paint to match his liner for door jams and a metal dash. This was a great idea so I thought to do a hinge painting kit so when an exterior is being done, the hinges can be painted with an exact match to the liner. Here's Apocalypse we made recently.

That is a fantastic idea! Does it require any clear or it just s single stage? Once you have that all figured out you can sell a kit for the complete jeep! I will be doing my entire jeep in the next year, just haven't decided on color, but the kids want me to do turquila!

Turquila and Sans Panties are my 2 fav colors

Single stage acrylic enamel with small catalyst, no clear needed. This stuff can be brushed carefully with black foam like in the pic, or sprayed with a little reducer added. Eventually I also want to do 2K single stage acrylic urethane (Imron style)

It's a no brainer as we already have all the formulas. Ryan sent me old hinges so we could make some samples and take pics of diff colors

A combination of the weather being nice and me doing my homework way early this week lead me to do this to the Jeep. Last night I disassembled, sanded w 80 grit sand paper and a wire wheel, cleaned the exterior with water and the dawn dish soap and water (pics of the finished prep work are as it was drying from the cleaning). This a.m. I checked for any missed clear coating there was none, I then wiped it down with MEK x 2 and taped it up and mixed the Blood Bath and started painting!!! 2.5 hours for the first coat, I waited 4 hours in between coats and then it took 1.5 hours for the second coat.

I am happy with the way it came out!!! I love the way the Pyroclastic (interior) and the Blood Bath work well together!!!!!! Letting it dry in the garage overnight (two fans blowing to circulate the air) as the sun is going bye bye and I will assemble it tomorrow afternoon after letting it sit in the sun in the a.m. for a few more hours. Ok let's hope I can submit this with all these pics.

When i lined my LJ last summer i had the misfortune of choosing the hottest, most humid day of the year. The end result still looked good, but it set up so quick that it really needs another coat to be 100 percent. I ended up with some thin spots towards the end. What is the prep to lay down an additional coat on a currently monstalined tub? Also, i may be getting a free gallon and tint from a local guy who never ended up using it. His kit has been on a shelf for over a year. Is it still usable?

0 - wash surfaces
1 - Scuff the old thoroughly
2 - vacuum it out
3 - check it well to make sure you did not miss any spots
4 - scuff more if needed, vacuum
5 - solvent clean with acetone or MEK
6 - roll

What color is your existing job, what color does friend have?
