A little disappointed that these items were missing from the box although this is not a beat up session. I am here to find out will a regular paint pan work from Lowes? This is my first attempt so I do not want to mess it up and use something that I should not. Thanks in advance.

I just bought some standard pans, they should be fine, the rollers are probably the important pieces to putting the liner down.

Ok I am getting a little nervous! I bought a 1 gal kit and some extra rollers a couple of months ago and I am planning on tackling this project this weekend on my LJ. However I am now getting stressed out and think I won't have enough to line my tub! For the guys that have done their TJ how much of the whole gallon did you used? Or is there anyone out there that has lined their LJ? Should I put this off until I can get another gallon or will it be enough?

I did the inside of my TJ with a gallon and it was plenty as I was finding stuff to spary as I thought I had a good two coats on. For the outside I would get two gallons.

The only concern I would have (because I had some minor issues) would be if you are changing the color. I had the body painted in Gray epoxy Primer and then Blue on the exterior and over the lip of the tub. I then did sprayed Black Monsta and you have to be very careful on your coverage, I had to go over several spots to get solid coverage.
I will admit it could have been my lack of technique or poor skills with the shultz gun, but in hind sight I would have been better off spraying everything with black chassis saver first??? There are only very small pin holes of color in a few spots nothing major, and over all I am still very satisfied with how it turned out.

Anyone have a suggestion on how much MEK I need? Would hate to run out with only a quart and I think a gallon made be more than I need and really have no use for it after this project. Suggestions?

I bought a Qt of the MEK (substitute) and did two gallons and still have a little left over.
