I was gonna say, it's glass except the outside rim on the iphone 4

Curious to see how that turns out, I'd do it esp since I have an outstanding phone credit with AT&T

I guess it looks to be glass on the back.. it's a 4. So aluminum on the side and glass on the back.. I'm tired of a case, so monsta-lining to match the Jeep is the route I'm going to go..

If it could be scuffed without f'ing up the phone you may be able to scratch the surface enough to get adhesion or prime it to be certain

This is nuts do we need to make a 2 ounce epoxy primer kit

hahaha Well, since I'm cleaning up my wife's monsta work, I figure I'll have some left over of the quart. Going to put it to good use. I'll just scuff the glass and give it a shot. If it doesn't work, so be it, I'll find a case that covers it.

Hahaha I still have that case around here somewhere!! it was just plastic. I didn't prime it or anything, just roughed it up and wiped it down and slapped some monsta on it.

The way I see it, a Jeep is like sex-when it's good it's terrific, and when it's bad it's still pretty good!

I'm getting ready to place an order for Monsta. I have one question. Without going through all 580+ pages, what is the general consensus regarding the quantity needed to spray two coats to the bottom of a Jeep Wrangler (YJ) tub, not including the firewall? Will one gallon be enough? I'd hate like hell to run a little short in the middle of the job! Thanks!

You will definitely do it with 1 gallon
Spraying will waste less than rolling because you don't lose what gets soaked up by the rollers and what is left in a roller pan

Also the small amt of reducer added gets you a little more coverage

I just completed the bottom of my tub and the firewall (with the tintable Monsta) and 2 coats , I did spray with the economy gun and had about 1" left in the bottom of the gallon can. I would say plan on covering something else so as to not waste the product.

1987 YJ, 258, Weber 32/36, HEI, Custom Sound bar, Hardtop/Sun-rider/bikini tops, 2" Lift, 1/2" Boomerangs, 1" Body & MM Lift. 32x11.5x15 Copper STT's on Black Rock 950 Lobos w/4" backspacing, Still need Front Bumper and Seats.

2nd post, also magnetman, I have a customer that is wanting to paint/liner his hardtop on the inside with your white. Is this recommended by you to do? He is wanting to kill some of the noise and help on the air/heat issues. Please give me your thoughts.

And finally, I have 4 customers wanting to roll/line their JK's wheel flares. They are all painted to factory color. Thoughts or tips on doing that? WIll all be the black in color of course.thanks again!
