We can give you acrylic enamel or urethane to match Lady in Red
I would paint the jeep first before lining the bottom
Let me know what help you need. This will be a first and I love the idea

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any pics of an Xj Done up in Zombie Sunset or Blood bath? Looking to monsta mine, can't decide on a color.
Also, how much will I need to order to give the entire exterior a nice thick, durable coat?
Thanks!!!

For anyone who has to remove multiple layers of old paint and/or a cheap roll-on bedliner... If using a chemical paint stripper, don't use the "Eco-Friendly" stuff. I've spent over 2.5 days working on the interior alone, and I'm still not done. Fortunately for me, when I went to get more stripper for the exterior, they didn't have the original stuff so I went with the normal (heavy duty) stuff. Knocked the hood out with a lot more ease in a very short time. I should have the entire exterior and finish the interior by tomorrow.
Save yourself the frustration... get the good stuff the first time!
Hoping to ML the interior this weekend!

Zip Strip. But I've also heard that Klean-Strip (Aircraft) works great. Unfortunately, the hardware stores and paint store out here are limiting, so it was either Zip or another eco-friendly brand. When I saw water soluble, I grabbed the Zip.
Originally I was using Citristrip. It works well if left on overnight and if the layers are thin. Unfortunately, at the driver and passenger's foot wells, those areas were thick so the Citristrip wasn't really working.
The Zip Strip was working within 10-15 minutes! And I could even wipe some of the soft stuff up with a green pad and paper towels. That was not happening with the other stuff.

Unfortunately some "ECO Friendly" chemical products just don't do the same job as the Non-Eco stuff.. paint remover being one of them.
The chemical in the old paint removers that worked so well is called Methylene Chloride. Zip strip and Kean strip both contain this very nasty but effective stuff.
Methylene chloride is actually a solvent. Paint removers work best if you can keep them wet for extended time. Laying down remover and then covering with plastic helps a lot

I'm having a hard time deciding if Zombie would look cheesy or corny on an Xj lol. On the wrangler w/ clear coat looks amazing though!
