So I know those who monstaline their exterior aren't really "show jeep" type people, but just had a thought and figured I'd throw it out there.

Would a product like "tire wet" maybe give a bit of shine to ML? Anyone tried it? For those who love their ML exteriors but occasionally miss the "bling factor" that a quality paint job provides, I wonder if this might be a solution for in between wheeling trips?

Magnet, no problem with the chemicals here on cured ML, correct?

if your looking for a glossy look i would think you could just clear coat over the monsta. but as you said, no one here that has put monsta on their exterior are looking for anything but a tough covering that needs little to no maintenance. the only time i ever even think about washing my jeep is once a year when it goes in for inspection. just because i like the guy that owns the shop and i know how annoying it is to work on a glopped up jeep coated in dried mud clods.

I agree with mike, when I got my color chips and clear coated half of each chip. It really brings out a shine. Order a few chips and clear coat it and see if it makes you happy

How long does it take for this stuff to stop smelling? I'm at week seems like it's curred, the smell hasnt lessened one bit. Had the top off for the first week thinking I was safe, put the top back on and it is still as strong as the day I rolled it.

Mine did take a while, like 2 weeks of really stinking then another month of slight lingering smell after that (this was all with hardtop on, the only way I vented it was taking doors off and leaving back wide open).

Good thing I have the hard top off mine now until late September.

Is there a way to tell when it's fully cured? I mean, I know 7 days is the easy way, but I know humidity helps and while the country has been hot, Seattle's been mid 60's and humid for the last week. I did mine on Saturday but don't want to put the seats back in until it's fully cured. I'm going to pull it out of the garage tonight to park next to the house for our 4th party and plan on using a milk crate seat

The new colors look amazing, sorry to lose touch for a while. my monstaliner and chassis saver still are amazing as ever on the jeep, no issues with it after months of different elements.

Has anyone Monstalined their hardtop? Does it adhere to the fiberglass? And is there any special procedure I must do to prepare the surface?

Thanks Sideshow. I actually thinking of going all the way to the lip and even into the channel at the top of the tub/bottom of the rail where the soft top slides in. My soft top has rubbed several places clear to the metal, hence the reason i want to line that area too.

For those that have a silver jeep have you used any other color than black?

Hoping to order soon. Panda needs re-done. 3 years of spray on duplicolor is done for.
