Ah! You're probably right. Thank you! I guess I'm going to have to roll in into the garage.

Back again Magnetman! I already did my metalcloaks and my interior tub. I am now doing my drop down tailgate conversion from Swag Offroad, my grill and my hood. I have been gone playing Army man and was wondering if you offer military discounts of any sort?

I like the letters in black but...you have to admit these look kinda hot.

This is the inside of my Jeep before I washed it

I will need to wash it at least 1 more time with some de-greaser. Then wait for no rain forecast, something that is a bit difficult in the humid south where it rains each afternoon. Saturday looks good so far. High 70's but no rain forecast. I can't find my 3/8 extension to reach the seat belt bolt grrrr lol

I agree. Maybe I'll play around with some color ideas later. But it looks pretty good now I think!! And Magnet, you were right (of course), I put up shade and the second coat turned out beautiful! When it's fully dry and I can drive the Jeep out from under the shade, I'll have some awesome pictures!

Yes, very nice job I want to do something similar but cover up over the rockers for protection from feet across that little threshold.

Thanks guys!!!

And Tazzer, the tailgate isn't a SWAG, it's a CJ tailgate that we fabbed up mounts for and stuff. It wasn't too hard, and I think it looks a ton cleaner than the Swag kits.

I have a jeep Comanche. I am interested in doing the entire truck in light quartz grey and the bed in black. What would I need to order to do all of this?

Please explain more on this so I can keep you out of trouble.
Getting ready to monstaliner in a couple of hours. There's an indented lip that runs from the bottom of the doors around the body of the yj. The hardtop sits on this lip. My idea was to just spray the whole outside in OD including the lip. I would then come back sometime tomorrow and tape off the lip which was monstaliner then spray the interior and the lip with black.

I suppose with a shorter recoat time, I could just tape off the lip so it doesn't get sprayed OD. I can then just spray it black tomorrow after I tape the edge of the olive drab.

My only concern by doing it this way is getting full coverage where the two colors meet up. I thought the lip would be a good place for some overlap between colors.

You can put the black over the OD like you first described. Tomorrow when you tape off to do the black overlap just run a scuff pad over the ODG up to your tape edge. Dull the surface of the ODG well and you should be fine

If the bed is 6 ft length is needs 1 gallon black

Approx how much more exterior surface is on a Comanche than a 2 door Wrangler with no roof included? Could be 25 - 30% more?
