Well, I wanted to have pictures of my Monstaliner project up today since I had planed on gettin' er done today.
But after giving Magnet Paints a call about Methyl Ethyl Ketone, MEK substitutes, and not being able to find the real deal anywhere, I guess that will have to wait for another day.

It's a Jeep thing. Sometimes I don't even understand.

I used the MEK Substitute that Home Depot sells with absolutely no issue. This will in no way prevent you from completing your project in my personal experience. My concern with using Acetone is that the evaporation rate is much faster than MEK, actually, much faster than anything. Obviously Magnetman would know better than me if this would be an issue so if he says it's okay then it is. So no more excuses, GET GOING!

Here's some of what I've got.......

I didn't get any other pics before I started shooting the RR on it, but the whole back half and the lower rocker panels, cowl and windshield frame were all done in CS.

Just be VERY CAREFUL using acetone. Very flammable

In the summer it evaporates so fast you can practically watch a rag go from wet to dry

I THINK you may be able to stretch 2 quarts to cover the exterior of a hard top with some reducer added.

If you measure, I will figure!
