We're backed up a few days in shipping. Never expected it to be this busy in Jan-Feb so we ran out of material last Friday

Shipping resumes tomorrow and you will get a UPS con firm late in the day or on Thursday

Read this doc for coating plastic

Ok I have searched this thread and getting conflicting answers. I have a 4 door Unlimited JK Wrangler...I want to do my tub, rails where the top sits in the back and my tailgate. I've seen people say they can easily do it with 1 gallon and I've seen magnetman say it will take 2.5-3 gallons. I don't want overkill...as if I have a lot of wasted product I'll be pissed since this stuff is so expensive. How much do I really need?

2.5 - 3 is wrong. You may have been reading where someone asked about doing something exterior

If you are doing black I would get the 1 gallon kit + 1 extra quart

Mix the quart 1st to cut in all corners and tough areas and then start the tub with the balance. Then mix the gallon and complete the 1st coat, seal the gallon and wait for 2nd coat

Thanks man that helps a lot. Your quarts are mighty expensive though. Can I get the extra quart instead of the chassis saver? :P

I just requested some chips be sent so I can see what this stuff is like. I am thinking I really want to do this as my summer project. Appreciate the help!

For those of you who haven't started yet, I put the scotchbrite pad on an oribital sander to scratch up my paint/chassis saver. It went about 10x faster than doing it by hand.

Eric, sorry for being such a pain in the @ss but I ran into little problem. The previous owner applied a crappy bedliner in the back portion of my tub, and I didnt realize it until now. It looks like it's on there pretty good, but I can't tell for sure. How would you recommend going forward? Will Monstaliner adhere to the old bedliner?

So, what if I want to do tinted monstaliner in a 4 dr jk? Is it possible with 1 gallon or do I have to bump it up to 2 gallons since I see no options for tintable quarts?

As long as you can scuff and clean it there will be adhesion

Is it rough like Herculiner or a smooth surface?

Is there any peeling anywhere?

We need confirmation from someone who has done a 4 door on what was used.
My guess is that it needs an extra quart but depending on application tecnique it may be possible to stretch a gallon but it would go down a little thinner

Tintable quarts will be out in April

It's very rough, almost like sandpaper. It was peeling on the top rail where the tub meets the exterior, but only in one spot.
