This is Bloodbath on a bumper I did myself in November

Colors are so deceiving in all photos. Every camera is different

Not sure on the emblem but he did a very neat job. Looks like much hardware was removed before coating. Can't see any evidence of taping at least in the photos.

For those coating the outside of their vehicles, what's it like to use on a daily basis? What about gathering dust and dirt and such, for instance?

Has anyone used the Desert Sand color on a Light Khaki Wrangler? I'd love to see how the two look together. If not, I guess I'll order a set of chips.

Any idea on how long it will take to recieve color chips? I requested midnight special and jungle love about a week or so ago. I want to choose a color asap so I can get my order in before the price increase. I plan on monstralining my entire rig, inside and out

I did my ext in white so i can see dust/ dirt and lines where rain has washed down bc its white but nothin a quick rinse down cant handle... Sure darker colors wouldnt be a big deal

and for the record a large heavy duty plastic garbage can flew out of a truck in front of me on the interstate goin 65mph...nailed front right of jeep and aside from a small crack in the front right turn signal (hardly noticeable) the monsta did its job 100%- no dings or chips or scratches...already worth every penny!!

A few more of Bloodbath exterior sitting outside
I just learned there was clear coat used over the Monstaliner and you can see it in 3rd photo

The guy said he has never painted anything before but a tractor

So, what is your take on clear coating monsta? If we were to do the exterior of a vehicle would that be a beneficial step?

Clear coating is an option but not required. I know a few people who have done it with good results.

Clear will make the surface much glossier than without and it would add additional scratch resistance to the surface. At the same time, if clear is used in the tub it may make the surface a little slippery. Naturally on an exterior this would not be an issue and would help with cleanability.

I have been thinking about releasing a rollable/sprayable clear as an option.

Adding any clear over Monstaliner should be done within hours after the final ML coat is applied since you can not easily scuff the ML surface

Read through like half of this thread yesterday. I'm definitely monstalining my tub.

Looks like most people can line a TJ tub no problem with a 1 gallon kit. I didn't find much on lining an LJ (TJ Unlimited) tub. I think the tub is about 15" longer if I'm not mistaken.

Has anyone had any experience doing an LJ with a single 1 gallon kit? Should I get an extra QT just in case?
