Are you down to bare metal after removing that residue or is there original jeep paint down there?

MagnetMan is out of state until Tuesday. He did say that Patriot Blue will be the next color they are going to work on. Yes, that is the color of the Liberty.

Ok, please be sure to scuff sand all painted surfaces before coating with Monstaliner. When I left my office on Friday morning they had your replacement kit to ship so it should have already gone out.

excited to install

hey eric, i've been watching this thread since you first came to jeep forum. And today i finally ordered a kit of monstaliner! I have been debating on what liner kit to purchase, and just decided to make a jump and go with monsta. I will take some pictures and possibly post them? At the minimum i will send them to you via email from some real world product testimonial! thanks for everything you've done on jeep forum!!

Thanks for that order quadcrazed26!

I look forward to some photos. We will be building a few new pages on the web site soon to show off the work done by JeepForum friends and customers.

Please post any installation questions directly to this thread so others will benefit from answers and advice given.

Has anyone used Monstaliner on the outside of their Jeep? Maybe I get "savant" added to my title but I can't find much on this with the search function except what was on page 15/16.

I used Durabak on the inside and outside of my 1968 Bronco and it turned out KILLER. Seriously, you could kill yourself from brushburn if you rubbed it, but it was still cool. Completely lost all gloss after one month of light driving and garage storage, but this was back in the 1990's. Has the sprayability issue benn resolved yet? I haven't had the time to read all 40 pages, but I'm working on it....

Yes, you can spray... All you have to do is thin it a little and use a shutz gun.

Nobody has done the outside with it that I know of YET.

Wow, nobody has painted the outside with it yet? Figured I wouldn't be the first. Thanks for the quick reply, I'm still trying to read all of the pages. Any idea how long people have had this out in the sun? "100% UV stable" sounds like a pretty tough statement to back up.

It has been on my bumper since mid November, and it looks just as good as day 1.

Check out my install guide (it is geared towards a TJ though). http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/mo...ite-up-901675/

I'll basically be doing the lower half of my WJ later this week. So, I'll have plenty of pictures for you guys that want to see it put on the outside, as well as on plastics. I'll post a few in here, but I plan on doing a pseudo-write up type thing in my build thead with a lot more pictures. Just check back at my build thead at the end of next week.

Follow LuckRiders write up. I've read through it a couple times...very thorough.

I can't wait to see the pics. Plan out how you are going to use the stuff. Have things that you may want coated waiting in case there is more left over than you thought. I really wish I did that because I had way more left over than I would have imagined.
