oh most certainly. have to realize that those fenders and grille become twice the size by coating inside and out, most people would only coat the outside of their panels since they are still attached to their jeep while coating. i put on 2 thick coats. those areas are "high traffic" for particulate and road debris. i wanted to gain the best thickness possible on those parts.

if i have some time this weekend i will finish off that gallon on the hood and as far as it will go on the body. i have 2 small spots to patch up on the tub then i'll fling the liner on it. if the OD is available tomorrow or wed i just may be spraying top coat on some parts aswell this coming weekend.

I got my order in today, ! Can't wait to get started on my summer project... Apply CS to all underbody components, especially frame and suspension. Using the Monsta on inner fenders, bumpers, and possibly some rock sliders. Might need to order another quart in the future...

I want to convince my grandfather to let me line the bed of his truck, an '05ish Silverado 2500HD (Bright Red). He currently uses an old sheet of 1/2" plywood as his "bedliner."

Dumb question maybe, but after you use the chassis saver, do you have to sand over it before you use the monsta, or can you paint monsta directly over the chassis saver without sanding?

Depends on timing. Something like within 12 hours you can apply it right over, but after that you need to scuff it too. Eric?

Correct but it's 24 hours to topcoat without scuff sanding. After that just dull surface with 180 grit for liner on top of the CS

Hey, I definitely want in on the first 140 gallons. I already stripped my jeep and am waiting for e chassis saver in the mail. With OD monstaliner I'll coat the inside of the tub, possibly a top coat in the wheel wells.
I'll be doing a write up in a couple days on e start of my project

Make sure you post a link for the writeup here! That sounds like it'll be a cool project.

Crap! Medical leave and tons of doctor bills. Wanted to do red for the truck and the light grey for the Jeep. Better hold off on the red for now as the Jeep NEEDS to be done and has to take priority here. Put me down for enough light grey to do the silver LJ Rubi -what is that 1 1/2 gallons??? I'll have to hit you up later for the red to go with the truck once I take care of a few of these doctor bills.

Oh-trailer is NEARLY ready! Just wrapping up a couple loose ends today/tomorrow I think and it's off to powder coat. I'll be using the original 3 gallons for the inside, all the flat surfaces on the outside and maybe a little extra... Trailer will be in down-time for coating and electrical work so I can line the Jeep in the mean time.

Will be GREAT to have the Jeep and trailer "Monstalined" finally!!!

Best of Luck,

Mike
