Any chance to get the Free Quart and Free shipping, like the old promo? I really have no use for the chasis saver.

Also I have read though tons of pages and searched, but did not find a definative answer on the heat in the trans tunnel after applying. My TJ gets hot with herc, is this any better at insulating?

The current promo that is running is the same promo that Magnet started when he first did one for JF.

It's hard to make special deals for anyone asking. We try to make the promo appeal to all.

Just get the free quart and sell it to a friend for $20 or 25

the point of the promo is you're getting a quart of another one of their quality products FREE because you're a part of JeepForum its not available to everyone... that means they're extending members of JeepForum to try one of their products at no cost to you when you purchase a bedliner kit. Don't want it? Then don't put in the promo code and don't get it FREE and just use the bedliner at the price everyone else pays with no FREE chassis saver

This is the 1st time we ever had this question
There's no concession for not taking the free quart so you have 2 options:

1) Order the 2 gallon kit and just use the free shipping code and don't get the Chassis Saver

2) Order the 2 gallon kit and choose a free quart of gloss black

The quart does not fit in the 2 gallon kit box so it comes packed by itself ready to reship, don't open the box

List it on ebay for $20 or $25 + $4 shipping and then just take it to UPS drop off when it sells. Should sell in 3 days at that price.

Without reading all 208 pages, how much was needed for a '78 chev long box and tailgate? I've changed plans yet again trying to speed things up. Have 3 gallons of the stuff. Skipping the Jeep as I'm holding out for silver/light grey there. Will do full trailer bed as planned which I THINK we said would be around 1 1/2 gallons. Would the remaining 1 1/2 gallon be enough for the truck bed? If so, I could knock them both out with help in same day. Brining truck back to DD rig so I can take the Jeep down for some work.

Thanks,

Best of Luck,

Mike

A 6 ft pickup bed uses 1 gallon and this is based on 60 sq ft
An 8 ft bed is 33% larger in the floor and 2 side walls which takes the sq footage up to 75 - 78 sq ft (based in 21" high inside bed depth)

So yes 1.5 gallons should do the long bed with probably enough extra to put 3 coats on the tailgate
