One quart should be sufficient I suppose but as a novice I would have liked to have extra just in case.

Will any type brush work well when applying Chassis Saver to the undercarriage?
Got that order, thanks very much!
Sorry about that, we make much less money on the big kit per gallon since the 2nd gallon is $30 less than the first and then we have the extra tools in there with more packaging and we still give free freight which costs more.

Any type of brush works. Low cost is best. Black bristle polyester is good. A pain to clean but the MEK for your tub wiping cleans brushes very well.

New Mexico Driving Rules...
  • As a general rule, the vehicle most in need of a significant amount of bodywork (for which the driver is most likely uninsured) always has the right of way.
  • Never use directional signals when changing lanes. They only serve to give away your next move, causing most NM drivers to speed up and not let you in. In fact, use of directional signals within most large NM city limits is actual illegal.
  • NM law states that at least 50% of all paved surfaces within the state must be under construction at any one time. In all construction zones, at least half of the available lanes must be closed, regardless of whether any actual construction is be accomplished or not. Construction signs shall be regularly repositioned in order to warn drivers about upcoming lane closures immediately after they pass the last exit before traffic backups.
  • Driving through constructions zones with upcoming lane closures is a popular game in NM. Itís called the "speed up and pass as many cars as you can, then see how close to the lane closure you can squeeze back into traffic before hitting any of the orange construction barrels" game.

I bought some Chassis Saver from you and I want to spray it on using an HVLP spray guy. On the tech sheet, it says to use a spray tip size between .013 and .017. What would happen if I used a smaller spray tip, say size .010 instead. Would I get a poor application or would the gun clog?

Thanks,

Thanks for getting these added to my order. Great customer service.
Now just need some time to get this stuff installed in the Jeeps. TJ should be close to ready. CJ still some body work to do.

Thanks,
I don't think it will be an issue. Was it Gloss Black?
This has the least amount of pigment and not that I think it will clog.
.01 tip is a clear coat tip so it's 40% smaller than .014
Just go slow. If you detect a problem add a little bit extra reducer and cut back on the fluid flow to tip

My pleasure. Let me know how that works for the small/tight spots. I'm not in direct communication with anyone we've shipped that to.

Maybe take some photos of it in use for me?

Thanks
