I was following the whole discussion and was ready to give a final answer, but then Reconmill cleaned it all up. Good thing
Magnetman, your service is great and you have close ties with your customers, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

What I want is to paint my tub red using the 50 dollar paint job, and I need the red Monstaliner to somewhat resemble that shade of red. (Or the paint needs to resemble the Monstaliner perhaps ) That's pretty much the only reason I need a sample.
I am colorblind by the way, so if it's a couple shades off, it won't matter much!!
I'm looking for a Massey Ferguson red which is close to a Ral 3002, and our fire engines in the Netherlands are painted in Red Ral 3000.

MF Red is one of our standard colors (lots of tractor paint) and that is what we will be matching as one of the reds. Other will be Int Harvester Red/Mack Truck Red.

Where are you planning to use Monstaliner. Where is the cheap paint going?

Great, I like the MF red.

I'm too cheap to have the Jeep repainted. If something happens on the outside of the tub (which is likely with this kind of vehicle), I'd like to be able to tip it up personally. And I would like to try and paint it myself. The whole rebuilding has been a learners project for me anyway, I thought I'd do this myself too.

The Monstaliner will go on the inside of the tub for me to admire and to keep it from being scratched. (And I'm thinking about putting the Black liner on the bottom of the tub.)
If Monstaliner can be applied smooth, would you put it on the outside?

You can vary the texture rolling and spraying. It's really hard to get it very smooth because it's so thick.

I gotta go to bed. More on this tomorrow

I guess I missed a pretty large portion of the scuffle there. I am sad to see he was banned, but I am assuming he got out of line. Anyway, 2 weeks sounds amazing to start seeing colors ready to ship.

Just read the Magnetpaint catalog. The colorchart indeed has both the Int. Harvester red and the MF/Safety red. The Harvester red looks to be a bit too dark for me. MF/Safety red is perfect.

The colors and paint I look at don't use the Ral system, but Safety red is mentioned as one and the same type of red, so I think I'm good.

The RAL system is really cool. It's a world wide standard for color reference involving everything but ink which is the Pantone system.

Paint companies usually don't use RAL but more and more are referencing their colors to RAL because someone on the other side of the globe can easily color match something without having to see it.

Skid marks happen but I used Charmin Ultra Strong to prevent it from continuing

Hey all. I was wondering what it would take to get all my floorpans done and also the complete under carriage? What do you guys normally do for the under carriage if not Monstaliner?

Last but not least what's the current promo?
