Either way, this requires two things to make it right 1) Monstaliner--this is a given, and 2) black armor.
Yes it's the 4 door, 2010

I don't know how long it will take to convince her on the Monstaliner yet.

What is black armor?

What is black armor?
Things like rocker guards under the doors, corner armor, etc... like this:

White and black is a nice combination.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

Basically what I mean is black accents. JK's (the generation you have) are a little different than TJ's (what I have), but armor is a metal plate that goes over the body to protect it from rocks and trees and such. There's actually not much out there for JK's that I've seen, but pretty much anything from here (mixed with suspension pieces) should work: Poly Performance - JK

An example would be their high clearance rocker guards.

I got it, I thought you were referring to a particular brand of accessories. I like that stuff. Gets expensive I see. Gotta sell more Monstaliner now

Yes it is.

I'm going to have to get my own Jeep to customize. The wife just wants to drive hers and I'm not gonna fight over it.

Get yourself a nice stock TJ. Possibilities are unlimited, stuff is a lot cheaper for it, it's a lot easier to work on, the old 4.0L inline six is a great engine and will run forever with the right care, and there's a lot less electronic junk on it

We all know it is going to be like that for a while. The bug should hit eventually. Make sure she knows to wave at other Jeeps. You could tell her you are going to make the Jeep better protected from NY rust and cold by insulating it with Monstaliner. Just tell her you are going to put the carpet in after it is cured.

This.

Also Deacon, what is up with the Reacon thing? I noticed a lot of bans this week, and that whole JF recon thing.

I hope when you say it is a love hate relationship you mean you hate to love it, not love to hate it.

That stuff is just amazing. I found a new use for it when I did my tub on the Rubi. I put some on a rag and just wiped the headlights on my mom's van lightly, and they cleaned up a ton. My dad spent a couple of hours polishing them, and 30 seconds with some MEK and a rag did a much better job.
