Damn, you do some nice work! Especially for someone working on their own and not even out of college. Do you have your own shop? I will def keep you in mind for custom work. I can def engineer what I want, but I usually don't have time to also make it.

Could you pm me a very general, non-binding quote for a custom roll cage? In pieces: I'd weld it in, but it would be nice to have someone else source the tubing and notch and cut everything. I just want a ballpark number to have in my head as a comparison to other cages out there.

Thanks

Do you do machine and lathe work?? If so could you make something similar to this. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/lever-b...4897626aa.html

Jeep does not make the lever for the inside/outside air door (Recirculating Air) anymore and I broke mine. It is very similar to ^^^that^^^ one, but still different enough for it to not work. It should be made of aluminum but if it were lite enough steel would work. The stock part is molded plastic, maybe ABS??? So it would need to be lite.

I have a 1200sq ft detached building behind our home- I own a lathe, mill, press, brake, JD2 bender, and welder. A friend of mine runs a laser shop - I do all the CAD work.

If you can show me a rough sketch of what you're looking at I can. I base quotes off of estimated material and time -- I don't know if you're thinking of something simple or complex.

Yes(but nothing overly complex though...it's manual, I have limited tooling, and I am not going to call myself an expert). I can read the lever-blend-air-door in the link, but it takes me to the main page.

That's sick! I wish I had that. I'll try to get a sketch to you, but basically I want it similar to the AtoZ kit that adds on to the stock cage. But with some cross members on the sides in the back.
