that jack and stuff is under the spare tire.

but a lock box under the passenger seat would be awesome,

Will the seat still be able to fold forward properly?
Doesn't effect the front seat at all. I have not gotten to see the prototype TJ model but I don't think it will effect tumbling the back seat forward either.

Looks like it will be a couple of weeks before the TJ/LJ version can be finished up due to other product commitments but it is a priority with the great response we are seeing. Tuffy doesn't have any JF or military discounts when purchasing directly but I am sure that some of the Tuffy distributors do. We can help you track one down in your area if needed.

Have you guys at Tuffy decided what height to go with as per our discussion on the phone about the different seats heights from 97-02 and then the 1.5" lower 03-06 seats?

I think we are going to go with 2 different heights since it is pretty easy to change just the one dimension on the drawing. The extra 1.5" on the earlier models or for people who have raised their seats like you did might be pretty nice. Can't guarantee that yet, but that is where we are leaning.

This is a must have for those of us who CCW. It sucks when you see the No CCW sign in a window and you look back and know your Jeep can't safely store your firearm...so you have to turn around and leave.

Will you be able to use it on either side, or drivers side only?

I don't want to steal the OPs thunder (I plan to get one of these as soon as it is available for a TJ) but there are other practical options for those who carry handguns. PM me for the solution I'm using.

Not in the works yet, but we have a CJ7 we can look at and check out. Will let you know what we come up with.

Thanks
