I just received my Bilsteins which I ordered a week or two ago. They appear to be in perfect condition and I am happy. I had been worried about the valving since I didn't discuss this with Kolak over the phone and noticed there were several options for the 5125s.

Turns out he ordered the exact type of valving recommended on other sites for a leaf spring, jeep in the front.

So now I need to get some custom front shock hoops fabbed and I'll be in business with these awesome shocks.

Thanks and good job Kolak.

Nice, he listens and orders the correct shock. I needed long arm shocks and that is exactly what I got.

Soonermat, instead of fabbing a bracket for your shocks. You can use an old sway bar bracket from my understanding. Someone should have one of these laying around.

I hadn't considered that. I ended up just modifying/extending my current towers. It worked well and I'm pleased.

Backordered...well shucks. The Bilstien west coast plant is like walking distance from my front door, too.

Damn, That really sucks being so close. I always fell better making my own stuff if I can. Sometimes it costs just as much so I just order it. In my case for the shock mounts I found someone selling the bar pin eliminators for $25.00 for a set of 4. So I will sell what I don't use.
