Rugged Ridge 1 Ton Heavy Duty Crossover Steering Conversion Kit, 1984-2001 XJ Cherokee, 1994-1998 ZJ Grand Cherokee, 1997-2006 Jeep TJ Wrangler

Beef up your ride with Rugged Ridge steering components. This is a bolt-on solution for preventing bent tie rods from wheeling with larger tires. The tubes are 1-1/4 inch ID steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a 1/4 in. wall thickness. This is true DOM tubing with NO seams OR welds to fail. Heavy duty 7/8 inch rod ends feature standard tapered ends to fit stock knuckle applications. You get one ton strength without any modifications to your steering knuckles. Will not work with Right Hand Drive vehicles. Will not work with Factory Rubicon Wheels. FOR XJ W/UNDER 4" OF LIFT

Would it work on a YJ?

Tshep88 10-12-2012 03:55 PM

Do you happen to have the installation instructions, and if so could I get them?

I still have not tracked down any new instructions yet. I think everything is just busy with SEMA coming up in a week.

The image is of the new set up. It has improved geometry over the original set up. The Lower Passenger tie rod has been redesigned. Let me know if you have any more questions.
