I don't know if there is anyone else like me, but I was hoping to have a trailhawk with the HIDs, two tone white/black interior, and cooled seats with power lift gate but apparently that is only available on the Limited.

Anyone else confirm?

Correction, automatic lift gate is an option for a trailhawk.

I would if my old XJ had em though, only then I'd never want to leave the drivers seat.

People don't buy JEEPS past 04 for trail riding (other than JK).......

Cooled seats would be awesome on the trails, wheeling is when I get big time swamp ***, even with A/C you still have your window down creeping with no air moving in the hot summer.

QUOTE=billzcat1;wsar10 is right on point on this oil thread - as usual. Anyone reading this would be well-served taking his advice.

Here's video 1 of 10 demonstrating the Trailhawk's off-road abilities.

If you own a Renix Jeep, you'll want to check this out.

So apparently it's about as off-road capable as a stock Crown-Vic .

Crown Vic on Hell's Revenge- Moab, Utah

On a side note: Heated and cooled seats in a Jeep seems so wrong: "What the hell is the world coming to" - Jackie Gleason as Sheriff Buford T. Justice

I was thinking the same. they always go to the same things in moab to "test" its prowess. I have seen 2x4"s vw;s fly up the escalator and hells gate. burning rubber.

take it through say Fordyce now we will see if it can crawl.

Hey now, I tend to disagree with that! I wheel my 13 GC Trailhawk! She's been to Moab; Hells Revenge, Poison spider, Fins'n'things. Also she's seen much of the Wasatch front's rocky mtns. I do admit though, I do miss my 03 overland w/QD and the solid axles! but on the other hand I have to admit that I am really surprised what the WK2's can handle!

I was hoping to get one with the same options you mentioned in the first post plus memory seats/mirrors, but that doesn't seem to be available either. I'm going to talk to the dealer when they finally get a Trailhawk and find out if it's possible to order one or get the options installed at the dealer.

May have to add them as added extra options if you can find one. 2013 model year Trailhawks only for the GC and only 2000 made, no plans for 2014 models. They are doing a 2014 "Cherokee" Trailhawk though thats looks just fugly IMO.

I was referring to the Cherokee, not the GC. Sorry if I didn't clarify, I posted that before bed, so I may have been a little drowsy. Lol. I'm not completely sold on the looks yet either, but I almost never like the looks of vehicles when they are first released. I'm sure it'll grow on me. Besides, exterior appearance isn't all that important to me. As long as it's aerodynamic, quiet, comfortable and of course capable, I'm sold! (If I can get the features I want on the Trailhawk, that is.)
