2015 trans again

Trans started shifting hard and slipping so I took it to the dealer on Wednesday, about an hour later they called and said the needed to reprogram the trans and needed it over night. No call today from dealer I called about 4:00 and they said they have to do another flash again and needed it overnight again. Does anyone know why it takes overnight to reprogram the trans?

It's a KL Cherokee, not a JK, though it still could be the transmission controller
