2014 KL Trailhawk LED Fog lights

Hey there,

I've slowly been getting the itch to start "upgrading" my KL a bit, and one area I think would be fun is the fog lights. The other day I saw a 14-17 Cherokee Trailhawk with LED (maybe HID?) fog lights and they looked really slick when coupled with the standard day-time running LED's. The problem is I'm not sure where to start.

I've found a few vendors that sell LED fog lights, but most note that light modifications will be required (welding, cutting, drilling). Seeing as how I'm a novice with this kind of thing I don't want to screw anything up, so I was hoping any of the more experienced members could point me in the right direction (or GIVE me direction). I have to imagine there's a set of LED fog lights that simply replace the factory pair but I can't seem to find any info.

New member here and proud new owner of a 2016 TH Cherokee, my first truck ever!!
And foglamp upgrade will also be my first mod... I was looking at the exact led bulbs mentionned above but just wondering if any error message will appear or do I need a bus-decoder harness?
Thanks for your help!

I just replaced my fog lamps this week with the Alla bulbs. No issues at all, no error messages. I wouldn't say they are notably brighter on road, but aesthetically they look better.

Just a pain removing the 3-year old bulbs with a brittle base; the plastic tabs broke off but I still got the bulbs removed with gentle use of needle-nose pliers to pull the tabs and old bulb out without damaging the lamp housing itself. It's a 10 min job if you get the old bulbs out okay.

Mindset, skillset, toolset - in that order!
