Jcool, pull some GroPro footage from previous runs. There should be some footage worth posting.

Just giving update, this run is still happening. There will be stuff there for most skill levels. If you have been on this run before you are more than welcome to come again! and feel free to bring friends along! (jeep or other 4x4s)

So I just got my YJ street legal after buying it in pieces. I haven't had a chance to get off road with it other than bouncing around the creek bed that used to be Folsom Lake... would this be a good first time run to shake down a basically stock YJ?

What all does one need to bring with them? Lunch, drinks, snacks, what type of gear is recommended? Is there a registration fee or day use fee? What time do you expect the run to be finished? Sounds like a fun time and I know it's a lot of questions but being 3 hours away I can't exactly run home and grab something I forgot.

There is no fee for Cow Mt OHV unless you camp at Red Mt. campground. Plan to spend a good 5-6hrs wheeling.
