Do you have a Jerry can mount on your trailer or Jeep?

I did away with the 5 gal cans and holders. Too heavy (bad back) and they tend to leak. I moved to RotoPax. I have three 2 gal fuel cans and one 2 gal water can. The mounts are on my trailer.

Great !! There are some trails to explore once we get into camp. Give you a little extra fuel to explore with. I know the CJs don't get great gas mileage. I had one once.

Try mine with a fairly wild cam and a 4v carb!! Although driving it like a sports car does not help much either

Let's get this straight, your CJ is a PIG! You can see the fuel needle move as he goes down the freeway! LOL!

Yes she is, and proud of it!! Is there a problem with that? I have owned pigs most of my life. If I wanted great gas mileage I would own a Suzuki Samurai or a Scion XB....... Been there done that.

By the way, isn't it normal to watch the fuel gauge needle move going down the freeway?

I had a Suzuki Samurai. It was great in the mountains! But getting to the mountains and back was horrible. Took for ever to get anywhere. No power at all on the Hwy.

I had 2 Samurai's but never did a lot of freeway with either of them. I was living in Las Vegas and Carmel at the time. Just city roads, back roads, and dirt. The 1.3 ltr. was not suited well for this country. They should have used the Sidekick MPI 1.6 ltr. A great little engine with a lot of spunk.

We had two Samurais also. Goldielocker had one and I had one. I didn't want to go to the expense of putting in a 1.6 out of a sidekick. Bought a Jeep instead.

I sold my project 87 sami with a 1.6 MPI in it when I was getting ready to move back to cali. Sold my other cherry 88 sami to buy an M35A2. I figured I moved up.

My 88 Samurai first and my Deuce and a half the day it came home. Drove it from Fort Lewis Wa. to Carmel Valley. What an awesome ride that was. last is after it was restored
